Do you have enough time to do everything you want? I tested an almost 100-year old method and it worked really well for me. Try it. Share it.
Step 1:
Every night make a list of everything you need to do, we'll call this the Master List.
Step 2:
Pick no more than six items from the Master List that you consider most important. DO NOT pick more than six.
Step 3:
Prioritize the items starting from (1) for the most important up to (6) for the least important.
Step 4:
Start your day by taking on the first item on the list. Take breaks if needed but don't work on any other item, stick to (1), finish it, and cross it off the list. This is important as crossing items off gives a sense of accomplishment and creates positive mental feedback that'll keep you going.
Step 5:
Move on to item (2) and repeat this process till you finish all six items on your list. Take breaks if needed but only work on one item at a time, in priority order.
Step 6:
If you have more time left in the day, choose six more items from the Master List and repeat the process.
Follow this method and you will get more done every day.
NOTE: If distractions occur, resolve them and then continue with the list.
